Settlement Reached

A settlement has been reached in the Dermalive Class Action. The Defendants deny the allegations made in the lawsuit, but have agreed to pay $5.6 million dollars to settle the case. The settlement is designed to compensate class members who were injected with Dermalive and later developed granulomas in the areas injected with the dermal filler. To participate you must be a British Columbia resident or a non-BC resident who validly opted into the lawsuit. The next step is to obtain Court approval of the settlement. The hearing is scheduled for October 10, 2014.
