Nicola Hartigan, Class Action Lawyer
Nicola Hartigan is part of Klein Lawyers’ Class Action practice group where she acts for plaintiffs in a wide range of cases, including those involving defective medical products, deceptive marketing and institutional negligence. She has appeared as counsel before all levels of court in British Columbia and before the Superior Court of Justice in Ontario and the King’s Bench in Alberta.
Nicola completed her law degree at the University of British Columbia. As part of her law program, she studied International Law at the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands. Prior to law school, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Victoria.
Nicola was a co-chair of the Canadian Bar Associations Class Action Section from 2007 to 2011. She continues to be a member of the Canadian Bar Association and contributes to continuing legal education as a presenter at legal conferences such as, the National Conference on Class Actions, the Western Canadian Class Action Conference, and the Women of Class conference.
